Mya Phoo Ngon
Teacher

Hello everyone. My name is Mya Phoo Ngon. I joined the Internship programme of the SPACE for ALL in 2020 . Then I worked as a part time lecturer and I am now working as a full time lecturer at Times City branch.

Being able to join the internship program was a huge support for my English language teaching career. I got massive knowledge and experiences from the programme. When I became a teacher at the SPACE, I could also join a number of training sessions for professional development. We could also join English language classes to polish our English language proficiency.  My colleagues are really helpful and we always learn from each other. The admin staff members are also willing to give us a hand everytime we need their help.

Working in this incredibly supportive and positive organisation helps me a lot in my career development. If you want to learn to teach English in depth and also to be able to teach English systematically, I would like to invite you all to join the internship programme of SPACE for All.

Khin Thet Lwin
Teacher

Hello. I am Khin Thet Lwin. I took part in the first batch of Internship programme from SPACE for All in November 2019. I was interested in languages and teaching, and I was working as a freelance teacher. However, I wanted to be a professional English teacher, so I was looking for teacher training courses back then. I spotted the ad of the programme on Facebook and I realized that I found the perfect programme for me. This is because I had been following the facebook page of the SPACE and I knew that I would definitely get the systematic English Language teaching techniques.

I was really devoted to the programme and I did learn a lot from it. After the programme, I started working as a full-time lecturer. During my four years with the SPACE, I had chances to join different workshops and to work in academic projects, so I am always learning new things. That’s why, I want to express my appreciation for the school and I am really proud of my growth. I am really grateful for my supportive employers (my trainers), my kind colleagues and the helpful admin staff members. It is such a healthy working environment.

Once you join the internship programme, your teaching skills will significantly improve and you will recognize your abilities. This is the best internship programme in Myanmar for those who love teaching.

Aye Aye Swe
Teacher

Hello, I am Aye Aye Swe. I was one of the intern trainees from ELT internship programme batch 2 held by SPACE for All in December 2022. I am now working as a full-time lecturer at The SPACE Language Academy Mandalay branch.

When I set foot in the ELT field, I only had an interest in teaching but my knowledge in teaching was very limited. When I joined the internship programme, I could notice a huge improvement in my teaching due to the training from CELTA, DELTA qualified teachers. As the SPACE encouraged a student-centered approach, our training was also learner-oriented with lots of games and discussions, rather than just focusing on the theories.

One thing I really like about the SPACE is the support we get from each and every team member. I am now living in the hostel provided by SPACE. The teachers and the staff members are incredibly helpful and supportive. When it comes to questions to do with  teaching, senior teachers and my colleagues spare their free time to help out. Having job satisfaction means loving the job we do and also having a positive working environment. The SPACE team has always created a supportive and positive workplace, so joining the internship programme and being a teacher here is the biggest and best turning point for me.

Shin Khant Lu
Teacher

Hello everyone. I am Shin Khant Lu.. I was an intern of the second batch of Internship Programme by SPACE for All in 2022 and I am now working as a full time teacher at the SPACE Language Academy. Being an intern trainee was an unexpected turning point of my life.

I was really hopeless when I had to withdraw from my university due to some circumstances, but I had a great chance to apply for the Internship Program due to the information given by my friend, Kyaw Si Khant. Being a student with no teaching background, I was really surprised and thrilled when I got the acceptance email for the programme. I never considered myself as a teacher but I got to know the genuine art of teaching, thanks to the guidance of the trainers. I can’t find words to express how lucky I am to be a teacher who can share the knowledge with the students.

Personally, being a teacher does not necessarily mean that I am a perfect teacher, we are still growing day by day, learning new things and working on the areas we need to improve. I also appreciate the support from the admin team. Without their kind assistance, we cannot run our classes smoothly and effectively.

Do you want to be a smart teacher?
Do you want to work in a stress-free environment?
Do you want to grow in a positive environment?
Do you want to reach your goals as if the sky's the limit?

If so, it is highly recommended to apply for the internship program from SPACE for ALL. What I do is share, your success is your call.

Ingyin Thet
Teacher

Hello everyone. I am Ingyin Thet. I joined the second batch of ELT Internship Programme by SPACE for All and I am now working as a full time lecturer at the SPACE.

Being a part of this internship programme was a huge turning point for my life. I always had a keen interest in the SPACE due to its renowned language classes, so I really appreciated the chance to join the internship programme as a trainee. Before the programme, I only knew how to teach English as a subject, so English language teaching used to be really challenging for  me. However, due to the guidance of the trainers and the help from my peer trainees, I got around the basic concepts of ELT even during the very  first week of the course. I also noticed significant progress in my teaching and that of my peers after every TP. They are all thanks to the daily input sessions and the teaching practices. I want to say “Do it now or Regret it later", Good chances are only for those who can make use of them.

As a student, I only had an interest in the English language, but knew nothing about teaching at all. However, I could learn different teaching techniques, classroom management strategies, lesson planning and lesson preparation to deliver fun and effective lessons, and I gained practical teaching experiences from the compulsory teaching practices during the programme. I would like to invite everyone interested in teaching to join the Internship Programme organized by SPACE for all.

Pan Thit Khaing
Teacher

When I lost opportunities to continue my previous career as a doctor due to uncontrollable circumstances, the internship program from SPACE for ALL appeared as a blessing in my life. I had never thought I had talent for teaching English until I joined this program.

The guidance and support from the trainers helped me discover this new passion. Although I had zero knowledge about teaching English at the beginning of the program, by the end, I couldn't find words to describe the satisfaction and confidence I gained to become a professional English language teacher. If you are considering a career change to English language teaching, you will certainly love this program.

I joined the internship program at SPACE for ALL, and it was incredible. I learned a lot for my personal and professional development. The knowledge I gained from the input sessions made me a better teacher day by day. Trainers provided us with constructive feedback for our teaching practice sessions, and I saw a lot of improvement by the end of the training.

Addtionally, the post-internship support provided by our trainers means a lot to me. Thanks to them, I am proud to be a well-trained English language instructor. If you are truly passionate about teaching English, the internship program is a must for you to join.

Phwaye Phwaye Pwint Phyu
Teacher

The internship program was a life-changing experience and the first step for me to become a professional English Language Teacher. The training sessions took place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and were led by qualified trainers. Throughout the program, I learnt  a lot about English language teaching, covering various topics such as how to teach different language features, classroom management, and lesson planning.

The evening teaching practice sessions provided invaluable hands-on experience, allowing me to apply the knowledge I gained from the input sessions. I guarantee that this program is one-of-a-kind for individuals who want to start their teaching careers.

Kyaw Khant Nyi Nyi
Teacher

The SPACE for ALL internship program has transformed me into a professional English language teacher. By the end of the program, I gained greater confidence in language analysis. While I previously knew how to use some language structures, I now have a deeper understanding of how to analyze language usage and effectively explain it to students.

Throughout the program, I had remarkable opportunities to learn from both local and expatriate teacher trainers. Moreover, the program offers post-internship support for personal and professional development. I believe this program incredibly benefits anyone aspiring to become an English language instructor.
